Crime Victim Assistance
If you were a victim of
crime, would you know it?
Pro Seniors helps residents of licensed
nursing homes and "assisted living" (residential care facilities)
who are crime victims. We help victims of theft, abuse, or financial exploitation
understand and exercise their rights as crime victims, by providing:
- Information about rights and regulations
- Investigation and complaint/problem resolution
- Assistance in filing compensation claims
- Follow-up support/visits
- Referral to local attorneys
- Help with selecting a new residence
- Referral to licensed counseling services
You might see our crime victim outreach specialist in
your nursing home or assisted living community. She is visiting long-term
care communities in our service area to provide our posters and other information
on crime victim rights. For more information about Victim Assistance Program,
please contact us.
