As we follow CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, Pro Seniors is here to respond to your questions and concerns.  We are grateful for your help to support our community during this challenging time.  Thank you for ensuring access to legal justice and quality long-term care!

Pro Seniors is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit corporation incorporated under the laws of the State of Ohio, Federal Tax Exempt ID number 31-0887471. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Pro Seniors meets all 20 BBB Standards for Charity Accountability, meaning our organization is an Accredited Charity!   You may also review our BBB Charity Report and Pro Seniors’ 2020 Audited Financials.

The Charitable Giving Incentive of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES ACT) (H.R. 748) allowed everyone to claim charitable contributions as a deduction on their 2020 taxes. Even those who took the standard deduction could benefit! Charitable contributions of less than $300 made in 2020 could be claimed on your 2020 taxes. The bill also benefited those who itemized, as it raised the existing cap on how much you could deduct. People who itemized could claim 100% of their adjusted gross income, rather than 60%.  Detailed information can be found in sections 2204 and 2205 of the bill.  Please consult your tax professional about charitable giving in the 2021 tax year.

Your gift to Pro Seniors helps us champion the legal rights, dignity and independence of older Ohioans, and promote positive images of aging.  Our efforts to protect seniors from dangers such as Covid related scams and identity theft ultimately help ALL of us.  We value you as a donor to Pro Seniors and your rights are outlined here

Thank you to the wonderful individuals who contributed to our 2019-2020 Annual Fund, who you can see listed in our 2020 Annual Report.
