What is Pro Seniors New Professionals (PSNP)?

PSNP is a group of new professionals – recent college grads and career-changers – and friends who host events that reflect their desire to uplift and improve life for older members of our community.  You don’t have to be “new” to enjoy these events, so join us!  Sign Up Here to be notified of the next PSNP event.

Mission

To promote professional growth and development while building relationships among like-minded new professionals that support the betterment of the lives of seniors in our community through networking, mentorship, and social events.

Time Commitment

Two (2) meetings per year, along with two (2) networking/social events per year, taking place quarterly. Share this fact sheet.

Leadership

Haley Cook

Haley recently graduated with her M.S in psychology from Palo Alto University. Her career goal is to become a pediatric clinical psychologist hopefully within a children’s hospital setting. She currently works at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital as a Psychometrist administering most commonly used psychological tests. Haley became interested in Pro Seniors New Professionals when her friend Dania invited her to attend the first PSNP gathering in September 2023.

Dania Mousa

Dania joined the long-term care ombudsman team first as a social work intern, then as a part-time ombudsman, and now a full-time ombudsman. Dania earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Cincinnati. Dania has been active in PSNP since its inception and is excited about collaborating with Haley to lead PSNP beginning in December 2025.

Leadership Opportunities

New Professionals Members support the mission of Pro Seniors by contributing their time, skills, and perspectives to advance the organization’s goals and engage emerging professionals in meaningful service. Members participate in 4 quarterly virtual planning meetings and attend 3 in‑person networking and engagement events. Members collaborate with peers to develop programs, outreach efforts, and partnerships that strengthen Pro Seniors’ impact.

Members are expected to actively participate in discussions, attend events, and use their professional skills to support board initiatives. This role provides an opportunity for leadership development, nonprofit governance experience, and meaningful connection with professionals committed to serving older adults in the community.
