Pro Seniors Sheline Presents Oral Arguments for Ohio Supreme Court

On Wednesday, July 18, managing attorney Miriam Sheline presented oral arguments for the case of Embassy Healthcare v. Cora Sue Bell to the Ohio Supreme Court.  At issue is whether the surviving spouse must pay their spouse’s nursing home costs remaining at the time of death.

Four of Pro Seniors’ attorneys and our two interns drove up to support Miriam and watch the proceedings.  There is a video on our Facebook page, if you’d like to see what a wonderful job Miriam did.

Here is a Dayton Daily News article about the case.

Professor Marianna Brown Bettman wrote about the case on her blog, Legally Speaking Ohio.
