Veteran Bar Association Executive Tapped to Lead Pro Seniors

Dimity V. Orlet has been named Executive Director of Pro Seniors. Currently Assistant Counsel and Director of Continuing Legal Education with the Cincinnati Bar Association (CBA) Dimity will assume her new role effective March 25, 2019. She succeeds retiring attorney Rhonda Y. Moore who has led the organization for the past 18 years.

In announcing the appointment, President of the Board of Directors Josh Goode said, “Dimity Orlet brings 17 years of legal nonprofit management experience to Pro Seniors. The search committee was very impressed with the caliber of candidates for the position and unanimously chose Dimity for her proven abilities to develop key coalitions and build relationships and her genuine dedication to legal and long-term care issues impacting seniors. From Rhonda Moore, who is retiring after 18 years at the helm, Dimity inherits for the future a strong team and solid finances.”

A native of Michigan and Magna Cum Laude graduate of Michigan State University, Orlet earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1997. Admitted to practice law in Ohio and the Southern District of Ohio, she is a Fellow of the Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Lawyers, Class of 2006.

On being selected to lead Pro Seniors, Orlet said, “I am so honored to join Pro Seniors and look forward to supporting the organization’s amazing advocacy for Ohio seniors. I am humbled to succeed Rhonda, who has provided exceptional leadership, and to join such a fine group of advocates.” A west side resident of Cincinnati, Orlet volunteers with City Gospel Mission Women’s Recovery Program and been involved with the United Way’s Board Bank Advisory Committee.  She and her husband Matthew have two children, Zoe (19) and Gavin (15).
